Name a less enjoyable activity. I would delete one of my fully geared Alts to never have to position steelbreaker 25m hard mode again. And yes I have killed it, it drops no tank on top of all the garbage you have to deal with. As a healer i dont even know wtf the mechanic is or still know the fight on my main. And yes we down it every week. Probably most enjoyable fight to heal as resto druid.

Back when Ulduar first came out, I hated this fight on normal. Added to the fact that I had to assign another healer to watch for the Fusion Punch debuff, it just seemed a giant pain. After having done it a few times, it stopped being so difficult. On both easy and medium modes, it became one of the easiest fights in all of man Ulduar. Before I get into it for man, let me first touch on the man version of the hardmode. This is, in my opinion, one of the easiest hardmodes in man Ulduar. Even before the ilevel gear came out it was easy, so now it should be even easier. Most people run it with two tanks one on Steelbreaker and one on the other two and two healers a tank healer and a raid healer. There are three phases to this fight, one for each of the mobs. Even if you kill Molgeim first, the fight is generally the same for healing. Phase 1: Raid damage should be pretty light, so the Raid Healer will mostly be focusing on the Off-tank who is tanking both Molgeim and Brundir, throwing out occasional heals to the DPS who are taking a constant, low-level AoE. The main point of this phase is to conserve your mana and let the Tank Healer get into a rhythm. The Off-tank should be pulling Molgeim close to Steelbreaker, so the Tank Healer now will be keeping up both tanks at the same time. Raid damage increases a lot during this phase, so the Raid Healer should be focusing on that. Again, you need to focus on using as little mana as you can.

Of course, taking all three head on is the quickest way to die - so you have to use some specific tactics in order to take these three guys down. Most raid groups will start off with easy and progress through the possibilities. The mode is set depending on which boss you decide to kill last. The bosses come in 3 different sizes: An Iron Giant. Easy mode involves killing them in largest to smallest order. Medium is killing the middle last, and hard is killing the largest last. This is because he has an ability called Overload, which does massive amounts of damage in a 30 yard AoE. It can easily kill a lower health raid member.
