Here at Unique Training Centre we have a very welcoming and inviting atmosphere with a friendly group of guys of all ages and levels of fitness. Membership for children below 16 years of age. We will be limiting this offer and payment needs to be made before New Year to ensure adequate time to supply new members with their free Gi prior to starting the classes. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo are excellent Martial Arts for self defence and we have excellent success with our anti-bullying programme and seen many children stay on with us even compete in Judo and Brazilian Jiu JItsu competitions. I had the absolute honour of sitting down with Gary Savage. Gary has a wealth of experience and has seen the growth and evolution of BJJ. Kieran — So as always, how did your BJJ journey begin, and what got you into the gentle art? Gary — I started training in Martial Arts Karate at years-old formally, but my dad was an unarmed combat instructor in the army and taught me some grappling and boxing from a very young age. I was rooting for Royce from the start as I believed we did the same art.
