The biggest complaint or issue that I have heard from the traction setup on the normal 36 was the area near the forefoot where it pops out or protrudes outward from the bottom of the shoe. This gave some issues for some and honestly was something I did notice but it did not bother me a ton. On the low top version it does have the same setup, but for whatever reason it does not feel as large or as if it does not protrude out as much as the regular version. I loved the traction on the 36 and this low top version in my opinion performs overall a little better.
