The sleek and minimalistic Japanese restaurant in North York only has room for 10 people around its marble bar, with every seat providing a front-row view of the dishes being artfully plated right before you. Jumi is a combination of "Ju" which means celebrate and "Mi" meaning ocean, and every single ingredient used on the menu, down to the ornamental garnishes, change with the seasons. Food was top notch. Service was spectacular - very attentive staff. Each dish was delicately prepared and served. The space is small, but it adds to the intimate atmosphere and adds a level of exclusivity. Parking underneath the building in visitor parking within the condo or on the street. I wish I could identify all the items I ate, but once they went down, I totally forgot. December We had Lunch Omakase which has authentic nigiri. The chef's presentation and the quality of ingredients were awesome. The staff were super friendly and the service was great. We really enjoyed lunch in a good atmosphere!
