Don't know what else to try. Light came on and device powered up. It is now charging. Unplug it and hold the power button down a really long time until it goes white. After some time, you will notice the Kindle display blinks for a moment. But if you have full confident to do this, please try it. In most cases, you can bring it back to life with relative ease.
