Kingsgate tennis club is a family-friendly and affordable tennis club in a beautiful setting by the Itchen navigation canal.

We are a family friendly and affordable Club in a beautiful setting by The Itchen Navigation, a short distance from Winchester City centre and with easy parking. We have six well-maintained courts with a new artifical surface which is very kind to knees. Two of the courts have floodlights. We have two full-time coaches who coach both individually and in groups. Please contact David on or Tim on for information and availability. We run 4 regular mix-ins in the week during the summer months, and two day-time mix-ins all year round.

Kingsgate tennis club is a family-friendly and affordable tennis club in a beautiful setting by the Itchen navigation canal. The club is just a short distance from Winchester city centre. In addition to a superb range of tennis, members enjoy the many social events which take place throughout the year. The club has a lively social tennis programme, which aims to provide opportunities for all kinds of players. This includes two weekly doubles mix-in club nights, barbeque and drinks at the Wednesday night mix-in, American style friendly tournament and so much more. Club Coach, David Woodford, runs a comprehensive coaching programme, catering for all ages and abilities. Opportunity to play in the annual summer tournament and all year round singles box league. While Kingsgate Lawn Tennis Club charges a joining fee, it is small and only applies to new members. The club offers four different membership types including family, adult, and juniors.
