DOI : The censer, in which incense is burned and used in religious ceremonies and daily life, has a special place in the Christianity. According to Christianity, incense rising to the sky symbolizes the prayers of the worshipers reaching God. From the Early Byzantine Period to the Late Byzantine Period, it is known through written sources, descriptions and surviving examples that censer was used in church rites, funerals or important events affecting the society. There are eleven bronze censers included in the Konya Archaeological Museum collection through purchase and confiscation. These censers are similar to the Byzantine Period censers found in museums and collections in Turkey and abroad, in terms of form, material, technique and decoration.

Coffee, which entered our lives in the s, has also included coffeehouses in our lives. In this context, a widespread cultural accumulation has occurred. Considering both cultural and spatial factors among beverages, there is no other example as popular as coffee. It is known that the popularity continues today. The study aims to examine the formation and development of coffee culture in the world and Turkey, along with the change in refreshments culture over time. In addition, it is aimed to investigate the importance of coffee, which has a deep-rooted place in our beverage culture, in incorporating cafe places into our lives and the density of cafe places. When the literature is examined, it has been seen that Konya has not been evaluated in this regard before. Thus, the need for research on the subject arises in the region. For this reason, the scope of the research consists of cafe places operating in the central districts of Konya. The distribution of cafe spaces by region is shown with maps.
