Bryan Keith Holland born December 29, is the lead singer and, along with Noodles , guitarist of the California punk rock band The Offspring. Along with Noodles and their bassist Greg K. He writes most of the band's music and lyrics, and is the owner of the label Nitro Records. Dexter was born in Garden Grove, California and grew up there. He met Greg while attending Pacifica High School. The two friends played in a local band called Manic Subsidal , where he was originally their drummer, after failing to get into a Social Distortion concert in After James Lilja was hired as their drummer, Dexter switched to both vocals and guitars. Noodles was eventually hired as a guitarist as well. Manic Subsidal never released any records, but some demos have surfaced in recent years. Then in , the band changed their name to The Offspring, who have since released nine full-length albums, four EPs, three compilation albums, three videos, one demo, one box set and twenty-five singles.
