It works really well on champions that stack critical strike chance, allowing them to scale really well into the late game. In fact, it is one of the better nuking items for ADCs. Although the item can help any character that benefits from critical and attack speed, it was mainly created to help Corki, one of the first champions in League of Legends. It can be used by any physical damage carry, but it is optimal for characters who have other sources of critical strike.
