This petite yet pretty site in the north Essex countryside offers a variety of cute, cosy, and rather unusual accommodation on a working potato farm! Sleeping two adults and two children, these arched cabins have everything you need for your stay, all wrapped up in a neat, wooden package. Your MegaPod enters into a small but practical living area. Forget campfire cooking — here you have a toaster, kettle, fridge, microwave and sink for simple self-catering. Outside is a large deck for making the most of the fresh country air. These former shipping containers have been given a new lease of life as glamping homes!

Osyth, UK. We finally set our foot with our most glamorous cabins also to the United Kingdom. With the help of amazingly sunny British weather we managed to setup all of our 4 Suites in a record 15 days. Our Lushna cabins are rugged on the outside but offer great comfort inside. Floor to ceiling glass maximises the panoramic coastal views. Just relax and watch the big skies. There are three Lushna Suites one Classic and two Lux , each sleeping two adults only. Eight Lushna Petites, each sleeping either two adults only, or two adults and two children. Finally one large Lushna Mezzanine, which also sleeps two adults only or two adults and two children. Inside each Lushna is a hotel standard bathroom area with loo sink and shower, a kitchen area with sink, fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave in line with our existing pods and some of the Lushna units have electric cooking hobs too. Outside on the deck of each Lushna youll find a barbecue, table and chairs, fire pit and some will have log fired hot tubs.

Now that the weather has turned autumnal, it seems strange to think that just over a month ago we were sunning ourselves on the sandy beaches of Essex! On arriving, my son was delighted to discover that our next door neighbour or neigh-bour! Checking in to our megapod was an easy experience, with a keycode box on the front of the pod allowing us instant access to our home for the next two days, megapod 3. The pod was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, and housed its own little WC and shower wet room which was especially handy when staying with a 5 year old! There was a lovely little kitchenette with microwave, mini fridge, kettle and sink, a Bluetooth speaker to get the party going, and a cosy double bed plus double sofabed. After exploring the surroundings and enjoying a picnic tea on our deck, we sat back and relaxed, watching the first stars of the evening emerging above our cosy pod.
