Lego display shelving
Often the more you build, the more you lego display shelving to challenge yourself, so you move onto bigger and more complex sets! You see the dilemma. Well, it would almost be irresponsible of us to not give a helping hand with how to display such an epic build!
That is impressive. We actually have lego items in our 4H fair. I will have to show this to my one grandson when he comes over Where are the white shelves with the black brackets from? I would love information on the white striped bedding! This room is awesome and I feel you from mama to a lego loving child to another. Good job, Momma, for caring and respecting Luke as a person instead of shutting down his hobby bc it's "too much.

Got a big LEGO collection? Do you have sets and minifigures to display? This post is all about super cool display ideas. We have a separate article on LEGO Storage and Organization if you are wanting to see how to sort and store bricks for efficient building. LEGO sets collect a LOT of dust, and a simple feather duster might not do the trick because of all the cracks and crannies. For cleaning LEGO sets and minifigures, we love to use two things. First, we dust them with soft paintbrushes, like the ones that come with watercolor sets. Second, we use canned air. Between canned air and some paintbrush dusting, you can keep your sets looking great. We use plastic storage boxes with compartments for organizing minifigures and minifigure parts. The boxes are great for minifigures that get played with and changed around all the time, but we really like to display collectible minifigures such as the Marvel, Disney, and Muppets series figures, as well as Star Wars figures. If you want to display minifigures, you can either create a display that hangs on the wall or a display that sits on top of a dresser.
Light your display from behind with LEDs to highlight details or below for added drama.

Building a large LEGO set with more than 1, pieces takes a lot of time and effort. Despite this, the selection of display shelves produced by LEGO-licensed brands is underwhelming, and most LEGO collectors opt to explore the alternatives. This 5-shelf bookcase protects fully assembled sets from dust and keeps them out of the reach of pets or children. However, a large LEGO collection requires a dedicated space where assembled sets can be stored and exhibited. During the selection process, I only considered shelves that can accommodate multiple sets, and I excluded all options that might be suitable for a single LEGO set. Multiple contextual factors can affect how and where you can display your LEGO sets. Converting crates into LEGO display shelves may also be a great way to save space, but only if you want to exhibit relatively small sets. Even though they all serve the same purpose, the characteristics of LEGO display shelves depend on their type.

Heat lamps would be perfect in the winter! Is he mostly about building for him? I love how perfect this is for displaying vehicles. Lots of fun ideas! Great job Andrea! Match your style. You can use computer monitors, plinths, shelving and glass to keep your set safe and well presented. Each shelving unit is 4 feet wide, 2 feet deep and 6 feet tall and every single set fits with tons of room left over. The ability to take photographs? Do you have links to your old white storage shelves with the drawers? We still need to do some wall repair and I'd love to move the shelves over the desk but he loves it just the way it is so I'm thinking it will probably stay this way :. I like to make my sets focal, so I can show my friends and family my enthusiasm for it. That gave me the idea to check out the Dollar Tree and other stores for clear bins and large bowls to put over my sets to keep off dust. I even found a clear large storage bin that fits over my Sesame Street build! So smart and it looks so cool.
