Indeed, Gare de Montparnasse was, at the end of the 19th century, the arrival station in Paris for many Bretons looking for an opportunity in the capital. Their owners are still proud Bretons, but they are no longer satisfied with just serving up a flat pancake sprinkled with sugar in an old-school dining room full of dark wood and Breton lace. The cuisine is delicious, with some original and yummy creations with flavors that come out of the classics. The cider, also, is very good. Loved this authentic neighborhood spot near Rue Mouffetard! We ate at this small Breton creperie based on the location and reviews. We enjoyed it so much we returned a second night during our stay. Highlights- the authentic Breton crepes, both savory and sweet with some They also offer beautiful fresh salads. Nice drinks menu with a focus on ciders and wines. Friendly staff, english menu option. They take reservations but seemed to have space if eating on the earlier side opens at 7 for dinner. We wanted to eat crepes while in France and this local restaurant did not disappoint.
