Sturdily produced, this is a candy-colored, unpretentious gaze over a half-century of nudity, fun, sex and the most absurd fashions this side of Cukor's The Women. Playboy was genuinely shocking in its youth, but these color pictures, compared to what's out there now, emphasize control and stardom. Here's the first centerfold, Marilyn Monroe, as the "Golden Dream. The text is a second thought indeed, but it's serviceable, the work of longtime Playboy staffer Peterson. Playboy lured some great artists into its pages, including Warhol, Antonioni, Helmut Newton and Brett Weston, but judging from what's here, none seem to have done their best work for the magazine.

Do you have any specific memories of listening to music as a child? A : My mother always says I started singing the second I was born because I was the loudest baby in the nursery. I started my musical journey when I was about 6 years old performing in theatre. I always felt super comfortable on stage and being in the spotlight. I felt I could relate to everything she was singing about at that time. Q : What bands or artists do you take inspiration from? I like to think my style is a mixture of all those influences. A : Ah this is a hard question, so many amazing bands I would be honored to perform next to. My goal is to play a massive rock festival like Aftershock or Rockville along the side of Jinjer, Evanescence, Bad Omens, Rob Zombie, and the list really goes on!
