Ultimately, there was no harm. On paper, at least. And, kicking things off positively, I did find its color reproduction to be impressive. It was an enjoyable watch.
Available in multiple sizes from 50 to 86 inches, there's something for everyone. It's good for watching shows or sports during the day, as it can handle some glare in a moderately-lit room. Its wide viewing angle allows you to walk around the room and still enjoy a consistent image. Sadly, it's not a good choice for watching movies or gaming in a dark room, as it has a very low contrast ratio, and the local dimming feature is terrible. The built-in webOS smart interface has a huge selection of streaming apps, so you can quickly find your favorite shows. It has a wide viewing angle, so you can walk around with the TV on and still enjoy a consistent image.

We've bought and tested more than LG TVs. LG releases many TVs every year, as much as any other manufacturer. It's a premium TV with a unique design, as instead of coming with a traditional stand, it comes with a no-gap wall mount, so it blends into your surrounding environment well. Additionally, its Gallery Mode feature is designed to look like a piece of art while it isn't in use as a regular TV. Ultimately, the G3 can do it all at very high levels of brightness. It also supports all three major variable refresh rate VRR technologies, ensuring a nearly tear-free gaming experience from almost any source. Like all OLED displays, it has a near-instantaneous response time, resulting in crystal-clear motion with no distracting blur behind fast-moving objects. The TV is available in four sizes: 55, 65, 77, and 83 inches, although the biggest size doesn't have MLA, so it's not as bright as the smaller models. Although it gets less bright than the LG G3 OLED , it's still a great alternative, especially if you aren't interested in that TV's unique wall-mount feature and instead want a normal stand. Of course, like all OLED displays, it delivers incredible picture quality, with a near-infinite contrast ratio that provides perfectly deep inky blacks, with no distracting blooming around bright spots in dark scenes.

It's the lowest-end model in LG's lineup to feature a Mini LED full array backlight, which is designed to improve dark scene performance while reducing blooming compared to standard LED backlights with fewer zones. It delivers a great gaming experience thanks to its low input lag and fast response time. It looks good in most viewing environments, so it's a great choice for watching movies in the dark or for watching shows during the day. It's also good for watching sports, as it has very little dirty screen effect in the center, and its wide viewing angle makes it a great choice for watching the big game with a large group of friends. It also delivers an excellent PC monitor experience, and it displays chroma properly for clear text. It has great peak brightness in SDR and decent reflection handling, so it can easily overcome glare in a moderately-lit room. It also has a wide viewing angle, ensuring the image remains consistent if you move around with the TV on. It upscales lower resolution shows on DVD and Blu-ray well, and its built-in webOS smart interface has a great selection of streaming apps. It has great peak brightness and decent reflection handling, meaning it can handle moderate amounts of glare in a bright room. It also has a wide viewing angle, so the image remains consistent from the sides, making it a great choice for watching the big game with a group of friends, as everyone will see the game clearly.

The processing features on this TV are just okay, though, so if you watch a lot of older shows on DVD, they aren't as sharp as they could be. It has a great response time, so fast motion is clear and easy to see, with minimal blur around the players. Visibility isn't an issue in moderately lit rooms, as it has good peak brightness in SDR and decent reflection handling.

The show starts with a shot of a starry night sky, but whereas the G3 OLED is able to individually light each star and each star only, the QNED81 needs to light the sky from its edges.
