Steve steve Posted: Apr 4, My LG TV screen flickers from black to picture so quickly that I cannot reasonably do anything in the menu and or setting process. What could this be due to? Do you get a flicker free picture at all? What exactly happens? What have you checked? Do you have sound? Any change with that or is it normal? Apr 4, by oldturkey Sounds is on and can be heard great consistently but the picture is normal and then goes black and then back to normal and back to black in intervals of a split second. The tv does not turn off, just the screen goes entirely dark for less than a second then back to normal for a second then back to black, etc. We do see silhouettes of what we are watching using a flashlight on the screen during the black screen view so it does not seem it is a board issue and possibly more a backlight issue?
