Introduced during the Edolas arc, Lisanna is a member of the Strauss family. In the manga, readers immediately see exactly what happened to Lisanna before she was whisked away to Edolas. But in the magazine Fairy Tail Plus , director Shinji Ishihara explains that he intentionally left what happened to her vague, in the hopes that she might one day come back to life in the manga. Both of them discovered Happy when they were very young, and Natsu believed he would be taking care of a dragon egg. The two of them looked after the egg together, with Natsu attempting to keep it warm using his fire magic, while Lisanna transformed into a bird and actually sat on the egg to try and hatch it. Eventually, Happy hatched from the egg, surprising them both as he was a cat that could fly. One thing Lisanna is known for more than anything is her attempt to keep the peace.
