Problem: I recently bought this joystick and when playing FSX with it for the first time today I noticed something: The throttle lever won't stabilize in the game. It makes the throttle lever in the cockpit looks like shaking. This can happen if the USB ports don't discharge all power, or some attached usb device sends interference. One at a time, give Winddows time to recognise the device, then plug in the next. I tried those steps but unfortunately it didn't fix the problem. I was told it could my joystick's potentiometer.

When I run the Logitech profiler all axes and buttons are working and can be calibrated. But in the game control options axis tune screen there is no response from the throttle axis, and nothing happens in game when I try to use it. A related issue is that I can't seem to reassign any of the buttons. When I click on the rectangle to the right of "trim up" or down in the "Logitech Extreme 3D Pro" column it highlights, and when I click the button I want to assign the highlight jumps to another rectangle and no assignment takes place.
