The lobby flows directly out onto the terraced pool area which seems to spill over the edge of the mountain. A sculpture of a nude woman in child's pose is centered at the front of the pool, serving as the border between lobby and outdoor terrace, while teak lounge chairs with plush ivory canvas cushions entice guests to settle in for the day. Guests move at a leisurely pace, sipping wine and beverages from the continuously restocked bar, floating in the pool, and conversing with other guests.
