LSAC does not create an account for you. You will need to create an Applicant References account and choose a username and password in order to complete letters of recommendation. Follow the link in the e-mail and then select Create an Account. If you are completing a letter of recommendation through the Applicant References website, we have to collect some information from you in order to maintain security and ensure confidentiality. Once you have created an account, it is easy to submit and manage all of your letters of recommendation, and to locate those that you have already submitted. There is no way to complete electronic letters of recommendation without providing the necessary account information. Letters of recommendation can also be completed manually by mailing in the letter and associated form. Upon completing the account creation form and selecting Submit you should have seen a confirmation page. If you did not see this page, your account was not successfully created.
