All of this points to the fact that Big Mom's defeat has changed One Piece completely. His future serious fight after this is gonna be fight for PK and against Imu. Can't be disappointed that Luffy didn't fight a disappointment It would have been nice and story wise I think it would have made more sense for Luffy to fight Big Mom than Kaidou, while Kid and Law take out Kaidou especially since Law has ties to Doflamingo who Kaidou had ties to.
