Luke Skywalker has officially claimed his green kyber crystal in a very significant way, a major sign that he's ready to fulfill his Star Wars destiny. This includes the healing of a corrupted piece of kyber crystal, a process that sees him truly earning his own kyber in the latest issue of Star Wars from Marvel Comics. This was an intensely spiritual process, one that saw Luke's spirit confronting the living embodiment of this Sith's past pain still tethered to the crystal. Ultimately, Luke heals the pain within, purifying the kyber from red to white. However, it's intensely important for young Skywalker on a personal level, seen finally claiming the green kyber he hasn't yet used in the Star Wars canon. Although Luke was given and had already bonded with this green kyber as seen in Star Wars 35 , he'd yet to do anything with it. As such, the exciting implication is that Luke truly earned the Jedi crystal by helping heal this Sith kyber. During this spiritual experience, Luke is surprised to see that his lightsaber is green , especially because he has yet to build his green lightsaber at this point in the Star Wars timeline.
