Castle Macgarret is a unique project that involved converting and expanding an abandoned castle that was previously used as a nursing home into a modern hotel. The project's ambition was to restore the historical character of the castle while also introducing modern amenities and sustainable practices to create a luxurious and comfortable stay for guests. Castle MacGarrett was built in as the family home for a wealthy land-owner. It later became a nursing home for nuns, and features ornate ceilings.
