Aya is a little girl who lives in northern Germany. Since her mother 's passed away, she's felt lonely living with just her father and his assistant Maria. What's more, she knows her father's secret Alongside her parents and their maid Maria , Aya lives within a large mansion that makes up the setting for the majority of the game. Aya is a beautiful pale-skinned little girl with long dark hair that has square puffed bangs with a large pink bow tied in the back and light blue eyes which she inherited from her mother Monika Drevis. During the game, Aya is seen wearing a white apron over a dark lapis dress that has long and puffed sleeves the upper part with white fists, a gold pendant around her neck, white cuffs, white pantyhose and black Mary Jane shoes. In the past, Aya had shoulder-length hair that is tied in two pigtails by two blue ribbons.

Her mother, Monika Drevis, was incredibly ill, and presumably died of illness before the occurrence of the game. Her father performs secret research in his laboratory in the house's basement, with the assistance of Maria. Aya is aware that Alfred experiments on and kills humans in the basement, as well as the fact that he is involved in an extramarital affair with the younger Maria, a former homeless woman he had taken off the street some years prior. On the anniversary of Monika's death, the very beginning of the game, Aya awakens at midnight to find herself surrounded by test subjects that escaped from the laboratory. Fleeing back into her room, Aya encounters the mysterious salesman Ogre, who offers her the task of solving puzzles to break into her father's laboratory and uncover his secret. Aya discovers that her father had intended to perform taxidermy on her and convert her into a doll, as he had done to numerous other children, having been enamored with preserving humans after having killed his own mother as a youth. The game has three endings based on the player's choices. In one ending, Aya allows her undead mother to take her father away to another world. After returning to the real world, she runs into Maria, who knocks her out, takes her to the basement and then kills her, turning her corpse into a doll. In the second ending, Aya saves her father from being taken by her mother's spirit. However, after doing so, Monika reveals to Aya that Alfred murdered her for one of his experiments.

In fact, her love and protectiveness for her family is one of the most powerful driving forces in the game; this is what primarily aided her in persevering throughout the whole journey to save her father, mad father anime, despite witnessing numerous things that would usually drive even an adult to insanity. Although her father does try to be there for her, it's clear that Monika's death has mad father anime affected Aya.

Although Aoi Oni is sadly not on Steam yet - if it ever comes, I shall play it. In the Northern parts of Germany, Aya Drevis is an year-old girl who lives with her father Alfred Drevis, who is a doctor that does experiments on people. One night, Aya goes down to the basement to see her father and after they speak, he tells her that they will visit her mother's grave the next day due to it being the one-year anniversary of her death. As soon as Aya goes to bed, she hears her dad scream from the basement. Upon waking up, she meets Agent 47 from the Hitman series, who is a mysterious man named Orgr in this game and is a salesman. Aya, despite knowing that the mansion is dangerous, decides to go and rescue her father at all costs and to find out who or what placed a curse on him. All while finding out the harsh truth about her father. Despite Mad Father not being a long game, its story is quite impactful and is definitely something to enjoy from start to finish. The atmosphere is creepy and is something I must give this game praise for; each area is detailed in a genuinely wonderful way.

In spite of that, Ines decides to help Aya by telling her how to get past the Creepy Doll's barrier. It drives everything MAD. As the two head into the foyer, Aya apologizes to her loyal pet rabbit for forgetting that he's always been at her side while she was scared of being alone. A poor woman named Jean Rooney arrives for an examination, and Aya uses anesthesia to render Jean unconscious, claiming that Jean will no longer suffer from her illnesses. In the second ending, Aya saves her father from being taken by her mother's spirit. Using the key she took from the maid earlier, she discovers Maria's diary and reads it, learning why Maria is completely devoted to Alfred: he saved her from near-death four years ago, and was the first one to show her love and kindness, as well as made her feel needed. Maria is Aya's maid, and later her assistant. Deeper in the Mansion's depths, Aya nearly gets choked to death by a ghost. Due to how close her father and Maria are, Aya worriedly assumes that Maria is trying to replace Monika as her mother. Concerned that she was slowing them down, Maria insists Aya to run on ahead of her, promising to catch up as soon as she can. Sometime after that, her father adopts a young blond boy named Robin , who had lost his family in an accident. She's shown to be rather concerned and protective of him, seeing him as a valuable member of her family.
