Mamas and papas bumbo

A durable sitter that grows with your child in two stages and can be used as an entertainment station. As any parent knows, it can be hard to get a toddler to sit still at the best of times. So it has been important to my husband and I to find a safe, secure and comfortable seat for our son to sit in. There are so many different kinds of chairs on the market and between booster seats, sitters, highchairs and travel seats it can be difficult to know which one will mamas and papas bumbo your needs, mamas and papas bumbo.

This seems to be a must-have baby product. Then one week, they had one at the mother and baby group we go to and I plonked him in it. Instantly, I realised why it was such a must-have item — my little 4month old baby looked so cute and grown-up! The next day I went to Asda to buy one and my excitement quickly disappeared when I got it home. And then the coloured bit comes out so you kinda get 2 chairs for the price of 1 , although I suspect as they get older the less they want to sit in it and stay still! Personally, I think it looks a bit more attractive than the Bumbo and to me, it feels like a higher quality product due to the materials used and the finish.

I have the Baby Bud - I avoid the bumbo as I was warned about it not suiting chubsters like my boy. At 19 months, he's still comfortably sititing in the Baby Bud. We've used it since we began weaning. Hi all, has anyone experience with both of those seats?

Despite reading reviews similar to this we went for the Bumbo….. A very useful review, thank you! The closest competition on the market to the Baby Snug is the Tomy Bumbo, and while it is cheaper, the Baby Snug has a longer life span. But as it turned out, that was not the case; Fergus has really taken to it. The Baby Snug has two stages; the first stage can be used when your baby can support their own head from approximately 3 months and the second stage can be used as your baby outgrows the first, at approximately 12 months. We have the Snug…will soon have a third child using it well, baby due in December so next year! It is not a highchair or a feeding chair that can go on seats or tables. I have been doing a lot of research on this because all my daughter wants to do is sit up and look around.

While Fergus seemed comfortable, I thought it was a shame the material for the second stage seat is much harder than the slightly squidgy material of the insert for the first stage seat. We have the Snug…will soon have a third child using it well, baby due in December so next year! I know there are some complaints that babies can fall out of the Snug, whereas the Bumbo comes with a fitted harness thing… but neither recommend leaving your baby unattended so if he does wriggle out of the Snug I plan to be there to catch him! You can also use the Baby Sung as a feeding chair as long as you are feeding your child on the floor and it can be used as an entertainment station with an attachable play tray.
