The Manticore is a hybrid that consists of the body and head of a lion, with three rows of sharp teeth, bat-like wings and ears, and a scorpion's tail that has toxic and lethal venom. While also having ram horns two pointing upward and two curled downward on the top of its head, sharp claws, and spikes, its fur is a tan brown coloration and its eyes glow a permanent orange glow. Its appearance changes on difficulty with the Beta being a more Orange color and the Alpha being a Red color with deep blood red fur. Type in values of a wild creature to see on which stats it's emphasized. Green values on a high-level creature are very good for breeding. If you have already tamed your creature you can try to recover the breeding stats with an external tool. The stat-calculator does not work in the mobile-view, see here for alternatives: Apps. Note that after the creature is tamed it gets bonuses on some stats depending on the taming effectiveness. This makes it hard to retrieve the levels on a tamed creature, so this tool is only for wild ones , but gives a first impression, how well the stats are distributed. The floor of the arena is teeming with Deathworms. The Manticore will primarily fly about the arena shooting purple bolts in different directions at once while using its tail to inflict torpor.

The manticore is a new boss added into ark, it's apart of Persian Mythology, to me it looks like it's part lion, scorpion and bat, I've heard it does a lot or damage, and unlike the other bosses, it's capable to knock you out before killing you, seems like fighting it is going to be a pain. Also it rarely lands, so you'll probably need some really good flyers to take it down, like Wyverns are probably advised. The Manticore is a mythical beast who takes the role of the boss in Scorched Earth , being the only boss on that map that players aim to defeat in the endgame. First seen in the Scorched Earth map, the Manticore has proven to be one of the toughest, if not annoying, creatures due to its tremendous power and ability to fly and swoop down. The Manticore can be summoned by bringing all of the required tributes to one of the Obelisks and using them to initiate the boss fight. The Manticore may be encountered in the Ragnarok Map and Valguero Maps as they are spawned alongside other bosses. When you teleport into the arena after using the tribute, you will find yourself on a platform in the Scorned Crags also known as Manticore Arena.

The Manticore can fly and has poisonous breath. It can also summon Alpha Death Worm and Rock Elemental which will attack any survivors that are nearby. It is depicted as having the body and head of a lion, dragon-like wings, and the tail of a scorpion. The Manticore is located in the Manticore Arena, beneath the Ark. It is accessed exclusively at an Obelisk and does not naturally spawn. The Manticore can only be tamed by using the command : admincheat forcetame. This command can only be used by the admin of the server. Obtain all the required items and locate an Obelisk or Beacon with the imprinted blueprint. A portal to the Manticore Arena will open.
