Hello guys!!! It is Daphne here today again to give out another theory. So in this episode, as they were battling, Alain coincidentally passed by and saw them battling each other when Greninja evolve into Ash-Greninja sparking up his interest about Ash and his Greninja. My reason Greninja would win because he has to win only to spark more interest in Alain to battle Greninja. We can see a few seconds of younger Ash and Pikachu talking with younger Alain give or take three years before idk it is just my guess and Charizard. SobI am guessing they had made a promise to battle each other one day and so now is the chance. So this theory is whether Mega Charizard X or Greninja will win. Apparently for my guessing Mega Charizard X will win even though Greninja has a slighter advantage of being a water-type Pokemon. So here is my theory, one Mega Charizard X knows an electric-type move which is super effective to water-types. Two Mega Charizard X fought more legendary than Greninja. Don't know what is Mega Evolution? Check out my page: Mega Stones and Key Stones. So we all know that Ash-Greninja and Ash are somehow link together.

Supporting what I see as the lesser of two evils - or ridiculousness in this case. Its still bullshit that Greninja lost that fight lol. Unless something has changed, Ash Greninja is still head and shoulders Ash's strongest Pokemon.
