The Megatherium is one of the most popular animals to defeat the Broodmother boss on any given map. But aside from being a spider killer it is still a very useful tame to have. I mentioned the Megatheriums role as a Boss killer for the Broodmother but that is not where its usability ends. I personally love using Megatheriums for farming chitin and organic polymer when farming Karkinos.
