Menards solid core door

Hi All, Looking to replace my doors with some Mastercraft doors from Menards. Price is good but I'm curious on the quality of them. The closest Menards is miles away so its tough for me to see them for myself.

Menards solid core door

When we built we went to the "local" Lincoln lighting store and they reviewed our plans, made a lighting plan, and priced us fixtures and ceiling fans. Our electrician told us just to go to Menards and he'd install it. We spent a few thousand there and have not had any problems with them. I think it was mostly Hunter brand fixtures we ended up with. Several of the ceiling fans run nearly all the time and 4. I built a new house 2 years ago went to Menards for all electrical was cheaper there than HD or Lowes pluming came from Lowes PS I like my tankless water heater just my 2 cents. Bought a Hunter ceiling fan from Menards in and runs all the time, never had any trouble with it. I've heard the contractor and some other folks say the quality of light fixtures, faucets, etc are lesser at big box stores than they are at the local guy. Can anyone prove this or is it just bologna? BBS's pricing is generally going to be better then the supply houses. They simply purchase more quantity then the supply houses, generally.

Newest Oldest. For spending over a thousand dollars on a door, we are extremely disappointed. They will remove every single thing they can get buy with and still have a window. Bag - Copy. We ended up paying extra to have our contractor pull out the window part, seal it properly, and put the window back in place. I have noted that Lowes sometimes has several different quality light fixtures, priced accordingly. To say I am disgusted and disappointed is a gross understatement. It appears that the bits used to drill the holes wore in the trim on an angle that was not intended. Again, this could have been contractor error. I bought extra repair kits for all my faucits when new to have spares on hand, now my in laws use my spare parts to fix their plumbing store faucets. Why is it always the contractors complaining about the "Big Box Stores" quality? It painted fine, but peeled a little at the hinges. Do they paint up nice? They are an oak veneer door, but it's pretty hard to tell they aren't solid oak. Well they are nothing more than a pine door, covered in sheet metal no thicker than a piece of paper.
