May 4th, I have an email copy and physical copy of my receipt. In December, after only 6 months, the monitor started having really bad backlight bleed. It was making it very hard to use. I contacted support this month and asked for a warranty replacement. I provided my serial number and service tag. I provided a picture of the service request ID with my name and the date taken next to the back of the monitor where the serial number and express service code are all very clear to read. It was submitted to the review team, along with the receipt. I was told "Unfortunately we won't be able to provide any warranty support on this system. They refuse to explain what "didn't match" or the exact why. They just keep saying those two things. I thought at first maybe it was my email receipt from MicroCenter that wasn't sufficient, but they won't even look at the paper copy I also have and emailed them. This monitor has a 3 year warranty of which I used 9 months. I can't fathom what is going on here but it seems that if there was a mistake whether I made it or Dell there is no opportunity to correct it. Dell just shuts down talking to you the moment they get to No.
