Most programs created for earlier versions of Windows will work in this version of Windows, but some older programs might run poorly or not at all. Found the device manager and tried scanning for hardware changes, as you suggest. The original driver disc will not load. I tried updating the drivers; but it says "Windows could not find driver software for your device". Cancel Submit. So I have never got a driver installed, never get to the compatibility box.
