The Hey Stamford! The Mill River Collaborative announced today the opening of their new seasonal outdoor beer garden at their Whittingham Discovery Center. The Mill River Beer Garden will serve beer, wine, hard seltzer and soft drinks. Snacks will also be available for purchase. Children are also welcome at the Beer Garden as long as they are always accompanied by an adult member of their party. At its core the Whittingham Discovery Center is a state-of-the-art visitor and environmental education center that features an interactive exhibit space interpreting the social and natural history of the Mill River, the importance of caring for natural resources — and the effects of climate change. Changing exhibits provide hands-on learning and an opportunity for community gathering.

An event every week that begins at pm on Friday and Saturday, repeating until September 9, Head out for an evening with friends and family at the Mill River Park beergarden outside the Whittingham Discovery Center. Kick back on the patio or relax up on the beautiful rooftop garden and sip a drink while enjoying the lush landscapes of the Park.
