As a result, their inability to sing leads to them being chased off in disgrace. Aside from flashbacks, Adagio's true form is never physically shown in the film, but she and her fellow band members gain pony -like ears, extended ponytails, and translucent fin-like wings. They also summon astral projections of their true siren forms from their pendants.

Adagio Dazzle is a siren who was banished from Equestria to the human world by Starswirl the Bearded. In the human world, however, their powers were much weaker and had to be channeled through special pendants, due to a lack of magic. After Equestrian magic arrives in the human world following the events first film, Adagio begins a plan to make everyone in the world adore them. They enroll at Canterlot High, and quickly use their magic to turn the school against each other, even controlling Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna. In a Battle of the Bands, they quickly clash with the Human Mane Six, now a band called the Rainbooms, and Sunset Shimmer, who remain unaffected by their music. In the final round, Adagio and her allies are able to summon projections of their true forms, which clash with the magical counterspell of the Rainbooms. With Sunset Shimmer's assistance, Adagio and the sirens are defeated.
