During " The Weapon Connoisseur " Side Quest , Nebb will ask Link to bring him a Moblin Club to see, claiming his grandfather searched for one when he was young but could never find it. Since they are made of wood, Moblin Clubs will burn when set on Fire or exposed to a Scorching Climate. They will also float if they are dropped in Water. They are unable to be picked up with the Magnesis Rune , and they will not conduct Electricity or attract Lightning if they are equipped during Thunderstorms.

They are made of wood, however, and will consequently catch Fire when exposed to open flame or equipped in the Scorching Climate of Death Mountain.
