Back at Monica's apartment, Chandler and Monica are going to their wedding rehearsal. Chandler listens to the answering machine after Monica leaves and begins to freak out when he realizes they are becoming "The Bings". At the rehearsal things are going smoothly until Chandler's parents come and things go crazy. Chandler's mom and Chandler's dad, Charles Bing Kathleen Turner , keep having arguments, and Ross bemuses everyone else by talking about his "big brother" talk with Chandler. After the dinner, Ross goes to Joey's apartment looking for Chandler who is staying the night since the groom cannot see the bride before the wedding, but finds an empty room and a note from Chandler.

After exiting the room and immediately smoking in the hall, Chandler overhears the girls talk about how Monica is pregnant.

Both parts aired on May 17, Joey unexpectedly gets a part in a movie about soldiers in World War I but his famous co-star Richard Crosby keeps spitting in his face when reading out his lines for the sake of articulation. Ross makes everybody burst into laughter by threatening Chandler physically if he ever hurts his little sister. Monica tells Chandler that she'd kind of been expecting him to freak out over their upcoming wedding, and she's so glad he didn't because it kept her calm, or at least calmer than she might have been. Just moments later, Chandler hears the new outgoing message on their answering machine, where Monica tells people to leave a message for "The Bings", and Chandler immediately begins to freak out. Seeing his sexy celebrity mother and drag-queen dad at the rehearsal dinner and hearing several more people refer to him and Monica as "The Bings" makes matters worse. After the dinner, when Ross goes to Joey's apartment looking for Chandler who's staying there that night because of the whole "the groom isn't supposed to see the bride before the wedding" thing , he finds an empty apartment and a note saying "Tell Monica I'm sorry". Meanwhile Joey finds out he is expected to be on-set on the day of the wedding and tries to get out of it to no avail.
