A short clip which went viral on social media showed an employee at the Moon Fish - located at Barking Market on East Street - attempting to break up frozen food by throwing it onto the floor. The video sparked disgust and prompted officials at Barking and Dagenham Borough Council to launch an urgent hygiene inspection at the store yesterday afternoon. MailOnline now understands that the shop could be closed down if the owners repeatedly flout legal hygiene requirements.
