The Wowhead Client is a little application we use to keep our database up to date, new dalaran, and to provide you with some nifty extra functionality on the website!

If it isn't in your Toy Box, check your bags and bank. You can travel to the Broken Isles using the portal room in your capital city. You will need to take the portal to Azsuna from the portal room in either Stormwind or Orgrimmar. In Azsuna, you will have a flight point to Dalaran. A character in World of Warcraft may lose their Hearthstone or forget where it is, preventing them from hearthing back to the saved Inn location of their choice. What to do if you can't use the Dalaran Hearthstone due to "You can't do that right now" error.

They fought both against the Dragon Aspect Malygos 's crusade to eradicate the use of magic on Azeroth , and the undead forces of the Lich King. During the third invasion of the Burning Legion , Dalaran was moved to Karazhan , and then teleported to the Broken Isles in order to serve as a focal point in the fight against the Burning Legion 's invasion. In truth, the area behind the dome was empty. After the second expansion, the area was replaced with the Dalaran Crater since the city had then been added in Northrend. Dalaran as seen in Journey Trailer. The city contains areas that are faction-specific in the same manner as Shattrath City is divided amongst the Aldor and Scryers. Certain parts of the city can only be reached by Alliance players Silver Enclave while others are strictly for Horde use Sunreaver's Sanctuary. The majority of the city remains neutral. It acts as the neutral sanctuary city for the continent, similar to Shattrath City in Outland , and can be accessed via the teleport crystal in Violet Stand , Crystalsong Forest , north of the Dragonblight , or through a flight path.

Comment by Wintermetal For those who don't know yet Dalaran will be the new neutral City like Shattrath was in TBC, not sure what the reasoning will be behind it but I'm keen to find out. I believe it will be floating but will still be accessible without using a Flying mount.

After teleporting to dalaran you can hand in the quest for a new hearthstone you need to delete the old one from your bags first. Walk over to the glowing Kirin Tor mage and receive your hearthstone. The portals to the Alliance and Horde major cities were removed in patch 4. The Dalaran dome which "contained" the city before Wrath of the Lich King. You should now be able to use the Dalaran Hearthstone correctly. You'll have to destroy your Dalaran Hearthstone if you already have one to complete the quest. Like the Garrison Hearthstone , it is separate from your standard Hearthstone.
