And why did you think they rather made BoS instead of a 'true' sequel? It's because it wouldnt sell that many copies, BEthesda's FO3 is a huge project and it's expected to make a huge profit. The only way you'll ever see FO3 like NMA and you want it to be is if it's a small budget title created to make a small profit. So why doesnt NMA make it themselves? Bethesda's Fallout 3 is true to the openworld and the Fallout setting which is in my opinion more important then dated view points and combat systems. Do you think the original Fallout devs would have made it birdview and turnbased if they had today's technology? But then they had a meh strategy and the abomination that was BOS.
