However, there was one last Roadblock to pass on the March 5 edition of the gold brand. Who would book their ticket to challenge Ilja Dragunov? Could the underdogs topple the dominant champions? Who would walk out the definitive victor of this rivalry? These questions and more were on the line during a packed show that would also feature the in-ring return of Shawn Spears. NXT Roadblock was not a show to miss. Dijak brutalized Joe Gacy inside the Asylum cage, using every weapon available. It took a pair of Feast Your Eyes to finally put his rival away. This was a fun one. While there was very little actual technical wrestling or use of the cage, the two kept it fresh with the variety of unique weapons available in this battle. Hard Justice has had better matches. His first with Gacy was better than this one, but this did its job in impressive fashion, particularly getting Dijak back on track. He looked like a destroyer throughout. The Wolf Dogs just work as a tag team. The chemistry is obvious, and both are working with a more energetic style together than they ever did apart.

Carmelo Hayes mostly cruised this week in an overlong battle with Joe Gacy that did not build more heat for Melo. While he was the power wrestler in this dynamic, nxt results, Melo needed nxt results keep his momentum in his first heel contest in years.

Gacy avoids a big chair shot from Dijak. Gacy kicks Dijak in the gut. Dijak drives his knee into the midsection of Gacy. Gacy with a gut punch. Dijak throws Gacy into the steel. Dijak with The Death Valley Driver for a two count. Dijak repeatedly kicks Gacy in the face.

After a vicious knee by Wolfgang, Gallus isolated and pummeled Brooks Jensen until Josh Briggs tagged in to clear house with a series of right hands.
