On Plant Island, Oaktopus contributes to the song by harmonizing with "Shewehdewedoo, ehshewehdewedoo, ehshewehdewedoo, ehshewehdewedoo" in a low, raspy voice. On Water Island, Oaktopus sings "Shewehdewedoo, ehshewehdewedoo, ehshewehdewedoo, ehshewehdewwaday" also in a low, raspy voice. On Shugabush Island, Oaktopus sings "Dooweh dooweh dooweh day, shewe deweh do", but Oaktopus joins Viveine in the song.

The Monster's 'roots' are actually powerful tentacles that carry the Oaktopus rapidly across landscapes, and propel it efficiently through water. The Oaktopus looks like a brown tree with tentacles. It has two teeth on its upper jaw, bulging yellow eyes, red lips and a nose, and a blue tongue. When this monster is idle, it stays in tempo by pondering-ish eye-shifting like the Toe Jammer and jerking its root-like tentacles. On Shugabush Island, the Oaktopus must either be purchased with diamonds or teleported from any othet island it is found on not including Gold once it reaches level While Wublins require multiple of different monster eggs, some need Oaktopus eggs.
