Nearly two weeks since my last post, gee I am getting slack but in my defence I have been back at work and with work means no phone or internet range, not just for 1 or 2 days like Queensland experienced a little over a week ago you poor things but for up to two and a half weeks. Excuses, excuses, yeah I know but I am back in the swing of things now for a couple of weeks anyway so without further adieu…. While having lunch with a friend recently they asked me if I had been to the newly opened Japanese restaurant at the five ways in Edge Hill. Strangely enough it was the first I had heard of it at the time and they told me that it had opened where the old Fruit and Veg shop used to be.

Been a very regular and loyal customer of OK Sushi for many years but most recently the place just makes me frustrated. Why oh why can they not prepare sushi rolls without avocado. The girl just looks at you blankly and reaches for the menu Anyway, not going there again Went for dinner alone. Some items are expensive for even someone going out solo. This small restaurant isn't fancy, but the sushi was quite good. We ordered gyoza as an appetizer, and the large mixed sushi and sashimi combo for the three of us. The portions were generous, well prepared, and we ended up not being able to finish Service was good and unobtrusive.
