For private rooms, Hospedaje Soma is more expensive than many on the island, but previous guests are clear that the mark up is worth it with large common areas, a pretty garden and a good-sized pool. Santo Domingo Beach is a 7 minute walk from the property. Xalli Beach Hotel is the perfect location away from the hustle and bustle of Motogylpa, but close enough to restaurants and activities. Rooms dorms and privates are a little on the basic side but clean and comfortable, and the common areas are great.
