Mendo Vrskovski, 48, was driving a tow truck in Pascoe Vale South about 1. Police claim that as Mr Vrskovski turned, the truck collided with a cyclist who was travelling north along the street, leading to the cyclist being dragged under the truck for several metres. The rider, a year-old Brunswick West man, died at the scene. Mr Vrskovski immediately stopped and went to help the alleged victim, as did several witnesses, according to police.
