We arrived prior to check in time, but the staff gave us some pool towels and a keycard to access the carpark so we could enjoy the amenities prior to getting the room key. The room was spacious and had everything you would need for a holiday. What I loved most about this is what it was an apartment so there was a fridge, microwave, cutlery and anything you would need to enjoy some meals in the room. You will also find a laundry with washer and dryer. This is probably the most helpful thing when travelling with a small child — you never know when you might need to do last minute washing!! The space in the bathroom was really helpful, especially with a toddler. He loves his baths and this was perfect for him.

Kingscliff is a great weekend or romantic getaway spot at any time of year. It has a lot on offer for a short break, from great places to eat and drink, the gorgeous Salt Beach, and plenty of outdoor activities. The beachfront location is one thing, also proximity to the village which makes an evening exploration even in winter viable. And it has a nice spread of accommodations and options depending on your needs and budget.
