I'm so late to this party, perfume parlour, but Perfume Parlour is amazing isn't it?! I have the oils of Dove fragrance and Oh Lola, and the Oh Lola really is close to the perfume parlour thing once they have both been on the skin for a few minutes.

Haven't tried the original aventus absolute but this stuff is fantastic. I have purchased around 15 pp fragrances and this is in the top 3 for me, alongside saintly S and stellarious luxe. I've been buying from PP for many years. I haven't smelled the original of this perfume. But PP's version is a lovely, natural smelling, soft, powdery floral that ticks all the boxes for me. I'm hopeless at distinguishing the various flowers in a perfume. From what I've read, in the original, Iris is predominant with jasmine added to that. To me PP's version is just a lovely, classy floral. It's not loud. On me projection is only about 2 feet max. So it's great for office wear. But it has something about it that makes it also good for drinks after work. On my skin the oil fades after 2 or 3 hours.

Of course, I seized the opportunity to try as many fragrances as possible and was delighted to speak to Tom, an extremely knowledgeable sales assistant who was prepared to cater to my every sampling whim, perfume parlour.

She was looking for something young and vibrant to accompany her on the many travels she had planned for the summer holiday: Barcelona, Porto, Edinburgh… lucky her! This fragrance is a prime example of how the same scent can smell entirely different on paper and on skin. It seemed unusual and a little cloying. But my sister, who has always operated by ignoring our advice usually to her benefit decided to try it out on her arm. It might be the way the almond notes interacted with the warmth of skin, but trying it on really brought the fragrance into its own.

Normally we dispatch the same day or the day after, once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email confirming this. However during busy periods, specially during November and December, we get really busy and dispatch can take upto a week. However due to regulations, we put a 2 year date on it. Depending how much you use, but I would say a 3ml bottle would last you at least a month, if you use it everyday and apply as much as I do and that is a lot. I personally apply a lot and this is what I recommend to my customers.
