Marketing heads at Specialized Bicycles understand the influence of Peter Sagan on its brand image. This explains why the American brand followed Peter too. This is a never seen case in Pro Cycling, peter sagan saddle. Normally Riders change teams.
Peter Sagan announced the news back in January that would be his last season competing at the WorldTour level on the road. It's hard to imagine the professional peloton without the Slovak star in it, and it doesn't seem so very long ago from when he first caught the world's eyes by joining a breakaway with Lance Armstrong in his very first pro race. Early standout performances set the stage for one of the most spectacular professional careers in the history of our sport. One that also saw Sagan transcend cycling at his peak and reach a global audience due to his unique personality and skills on the bike. Over one hundred race wins including a jaw-dropping trio of consecutive road race world championships , victories at the Tour of Flanders and Paris Roubaix where he memorably outsprinted breakaway survivor Silvan Dillier. As well as the all-time record for Tour de France green jerseys adorn the Slovak's palmares. All won in his exciting, swashbuckling style mean Sagan's legacy will be remembered long after he has left the pro peloton.

Custom paint, unbranded oversized jockey wheels and 26mm clinchers for the Slovakian national champion. This particular model has been taken from the Sagan collection. From afar, the bike looks to be fairly austere, but a close-up view reveals subtle gold highlights on the top tube. The moulded badge, as seen on the Sagan Collection Specialized Aethos , has also been fitted to the front face of the seat tube. Standard Shimano road pulley wheels are made from hard-wearing thermoplastic and have a standard tooth profile. The bike also has a standard short Shimano cage. Peter Sagan has a long-standing relationship with CeramicSpeed, which is well known for its oversized aftermarket jockey wheels. Whether or not Sagan will actually ride clinchers over his typically favoured tubular tyres remains to be seen. Sagan will move from Bora-Hansgrohe to Team TotalEnergies for the season, with Specialized following the current Slovakian road race champion to his new team. Jack Luke. There were also nods to each of Sagan's World titles on the frame.
Peter Sagan put on a clinic in today's stage, and is generally regarded as the best bike handler in the peloton. That sort of surprises me--I would have guessed that a daredevil ex-mountain biker would be using a tiny frame. Just the opposite. In the video below, he's riding a stock 56 Venge but puts a rather long mm stem on it. An interesting example of sizing more for reach than saddle height. In any case, it seems to be working for him. The three-time world champion is a man with an immense brand image and substantial marketing clout, and as such, in the wake of the news of his signing, Specialized followed suit and announced a deal with the second-division team. As a three-time world champion, the Slovakian clearly has the mental fortitude to win Sunday's race, but following a decline in his once-clinical form over recent years, many have already written him off as Wout Van Aert Belgium , Mathieu Van der Poel Netherlands and Remco Evenepoel Belgium steal the headlines. Nonetheless, the fact remains that Sagan cannot be completely discounted on what is ultimately a route that suits his strengths. We have also featured this bike in our Peter Sagan's bike archive in an overview of all the Slovak's race machines over the years. While on the face of things, the bike looks no different from an off-the-shelf model, there is one spec choice of particular note: the derailleur cage and pulley wheels. Sagan's bike is fitted with a tooth bottom pulley wheel constructed from aluminium, rather than the tooth thermoplastic option that comes standard on Shimano Dura-Ace.

But the year-old has recovered in time and is here in Copenhagen for his 11th consecutive Grande Boucle. Riding his first Grand Tour in the colours of the TotalEnergies team, his race bike is decked out in a powder blue and red paint scheme that sparkles when the light hits it just right. As a wild card team they'll be hoping to fall under the glare of attention as much as possible. In the past Sagan has traditionally run a very long and stout Zipp stem decked out in electrical tape to hide the logo, since it is non-sponsor-correct equipment. But it appears now that Sagan has switched over to an equally stout stem from Specialized - likely the US brand's 6-degree integrated Tarmac stem. The shift in the professional peloton from tubulars to tubeless continues. Note his name on the inside of the forks.

Not sure what you are talking about- all of these bikes pictured have a lot of drop. This has the benefit of keeping the rider in an aero position without needing to bend too much. The unique thing about cycling, unlike say motor racing, is that you can buy a replica of this bike very very much an identical specification. Sagan claimed the camo was inspired by the military and the way they use to disguise vehicles, quipping at the time that it may help him hide in the peloton.

Not in it business.
Willingly I accept. In my opinion, it is an interesting question, I will take part in discussion. Together we can come to a right answer. I am assured.
