Pascal recommended we start with a local Quebec blond beer, and also gave excellent recommendations from the vast wine list for wines that would pair well with our varied menu selections. After relaxing over our beer and amuse bouche, we started by sharing the scallop and bacon skewer and the pheasant confit roll appetizers — both were outstanding. Between the appetizer and main courses we were then served a palette cleansing pear sorbet , which was quite refreshing. Viv highly praised the Surf and Turf main course — half lobster Thermidor and grilled filet mignon with pepper sauce, served with a medley of rice and fiddlehead greens.
