We are currently in Italy and will be here a little while longer. As I type we are getting set to leave Rome for Florence. But we started our trip in Naples. Which is also where we started our over-eating. This lunch at Pizzeria da Attilio was not our first meal in Naples that was dinner at Mimi alla Ferrovia the previous evening but it seems right to begin an account of eating in Naples with pizza.

We have branched off into mobile pizza catering, specialising in the true Neapolitan pizza that gained Paolos an enviable reputation for very high quality pizza. We have added a mobile artisan gelato station that can also be hired alongside the wood fired ovens, covering the whole of the North West England, and North Wales. We make dough 36 hours in advance and cook the pizzas from scratch on site in our wood ovens to bring you an amazing culinary experience. We are named Attilio after Attilio Barchetti who runs a year old family pizzeria right in the heart of Naples. We now continue our pizza journey into the mobile catering world and carry on the tradition that Attilio instilled in us over 10 years ago. Attilios certainly does. We always bring enough ingredients to produce 12 different pizza styles for the day. The most popular pizzas include Margherita, Funghi, Italian Ham and Mushroom, and the Diavolo, which consists of nduja, salami, and chilli. We also offer cream based pizzas, such as the Carbonate and Bianca, which are pizzas without tomato sauce. For example, the Salamino pizza includes Salami, Nduja, and ricotta.
