I come from a background of modified cars and turbo conversions. I cut my teeth in the aftermarket world of nitrous, wild cams and dropped suspensions, wistfully slapped into hatchbacks with questionable brakes and zero star NCAP ratings. Not all dealerships have this as it is quite costly. Took to Vw hydepark where I serviced it last and they got online with Vw Germany and diagnosed damaged wires on the intake manifold.
