That was a much more satisfactory arrangement. So in the future we will look at Ponant itineraries, but only if we can book as part of an Anglophone group like Tauck [Backroads is too strenuous for us now] or on one of their co-branded Smithsonian Journeys cruises that are marketed primarily to North Americans.
