This section will teach you how to build a Prawn Suit, which will make further exploration safer. The Prawn Suit makes underwater exploration and evening mineral mining much easier, and the suit can access places the Seatruck cannot. To begin, you will need to find four Prawn Suit Fragments. These are located in the Koppa Mining Site. To find out how to enter the site, check the Finding the Koppa Mining Site page. Once inside, you will find several Prawn Suit Fragments have spawned on the levels of the mine. You will need to explore the various areas of the mine to scan them.

One of the resources you will come across in Subnautica is called a Large Resource Deposit, but the catch is that you cannot harvest them until later in the game. However, you are also not told what you need to begin gathering from these, which can be quite frustrating, especially to beginners. You can search for hours and still not find what you need, but there is no need to quit. The Large Resource deposits are relatively easy to harvest resources from once you know what you are looking for. It can take some time to truly explore all the biomes of Subnautica, but it is well worth the wait.
